I would have tested a $10 Gift Certificate.

"Bring in this gift certificate in the next 14 days to get $10 off your bill."

Doing this removes all doubt about the effectiveness of the ad.

How many coupons did you get in those 14 days?

Did your ad make money?

Yes or No...end of discussion.

Don't run the same ad again...change something...test a $20 gift certificate.

If you're going to run any ad, have a strong offer and a deadline.

Idea #2... Add a QR Code to your flyer...

Wouldn't it be great if you could keep in touch with a large percentage of the people who got your flyer?

Most set it aside, because it wasn't time to eat and it will probably be lost.

A QR code could open their TEXTING app and send you a text...
